Apparently the Canon 7D is Immortal?

If you've spent any serious amount of time with cameras in the past few years then you have probably heard the legends. People speak them with great reverence and in hushed tones. They tell of the durability of the Canon 7D. I've heard about it quite a few times myself and as a Canon owner (I have the Rebel EOS t3i) I've always been curious if the tales are true. Sadly I do not have a spare camera to beat to a pulp. Luckily the folks at DigitalRev TV do, or rather one of their fans donated one. What you will witness below is pretty impressive. I mean they actually light the camera on fire at one point and it still takes decent pictures! Enjoy the brutality below.

Check Out the First Episode of TRON: Uprising Right Here!

In a very smart move Disney XD has gone ahead and posted the full first epsiode of TRON: Uprising to their Youtube page! You can watch the entire thing below! Things like this have started to become a bit more commonplace recently, I hope more TV channels catch on to this.

Check out this M-6 Carnifex Replica from Mass Effect 3

Bill Doran has been making amazing prop recreations for quite some time now. His work is some of the best I've seen. He recently posted a  build-log for his M-6 Carnifex replica from ME3 here. I would recommend you check it out if you're into that sort of thing, and why wouldn't you be? Weirdo. But to top of this awesome project he's even posted a wubtastic video to show off the finished product. You can see that below.

You Should Probably Watch This Trailer for Tron: Uprising

Disney announced a new animated series based on the recent Tron movie a few months ago. Since then we've had a brief trailer and a few leaks of art from the show. So far I've been loving everything I've seen. The art style feels very reminiscent of a mix of Peter Chung and Sam Keith's respective styles.

I had my issues with Tron: Legacy as a film and as a direct sequel to the original but, overall I did enjoy the world that was laid out for us in it. I'm eager to see it explored further and I hope that this series can live up to the hype that the below trailer seems to be generating. Enjoy!

Designing with Portals

By now you have probably heard about Portal 2's new Perpetual Testing Initiative. If not I suggest you sit back and enjoy this highly entertaining Aperture Laboratories propoganda training video. Don't worry, I'll wait.

All done? Good. So now that you know the plan and you know that user-created content is coming to Portal 2 you are probably wondering just how it is you will accomplish your goal of making the most impossible test chamber ever conceived. Lucky for me there is a video for that too! #Journalism! :D

I'm really excited about this! My test chambers are sure to rival Wheatley in their ingenuity!
