So last night I helped out at the Dallas Makerspace open house and it was great!. We got tons of traffic, showed off a lot of bunch cool projects and got a bit of media exposure too. We were displaying tools and projects like the MakerBot, the CNC laser cutter, my new Kinect project and the mouse gloves, found object sculptures and antique cameras, as well as giving clinics on home PCB etching and crafting. We even had an Aibo dance number! It was a really fun event and to top it all off Cali Lewis from GeekBeat.tv showed up out of the blue to interview folks and shoot some video of our space. I can't wait to do another one of these.
